Sarah + Robbie = E-Session

This weekend I got the chance to photograph the E-session for my "one day" brother-in-law & his beautiful bride to be Sarah. I say "one day" because once my BF Reilly proposes to me, then we will all be family. No this is not a hit! Lol... I have known Robbie since before Sarah came along and "straightened" him out. He is a wonderful father, a kick ass skater and an overall great little brother. I knew Sarah was the one for Robbie when she came along because when Rob is being himself (goofy), she just laughs. I would have to say that she is the best thing that could have ever happend to Rob & his little girl(and Me, I love her like a sis!). Although, I am still a little mad that he proposed to her when we were in Louisiana last year, I can't wait for wedding in Febuary!

So with all that said... We finally got the chance to take a few hours and head up to Kona Skatepark for their engagement session. Here are some of my favs from the day.

Katie & Tim E-Session

I have known Katie for about 5 or 6 years now. She is one of the most kind hearted and happy people I know. I was so excited when she called and asked me to be her photographer. Katie, Tim & I met at The World Golf Village for a fun day but we ended up with a morning of rain. Once it finally cleared enough to head outside we were finally able to get some shots of Tim teaching Katie about his favorite past time. Here is some fun from our day.

Dolls in toyland

Last week I got together with Faythe Mesic and The Dolls of Toyland shoot. It was a blast. We had some amazing models dressed, made up and rocking out posing left and right. It was hard to choose favorites from that night but here are some of the really great one.

One Big Happy Family...

When Dessiree called me about doing family photos for her the day after Thanksgiving when her whole family would be in town, I did not realize how much fun I would have. Dessiree truely has an amazing family. Her two sisters, her father & all of their cutie kiddos traveled from Baltimore & Chicago to come to Jax to see her. She is blessed with a beautiful family and I was happy to capture some fun images in their backyard for a few hours. Hopefully I will get to see them again next year!

Wendy, Zack & Marleigh

Mackenzie & Duncan

I met up with Mackenzie & Duncan in San Marco this past weekend to take some fun Christmas pictures. I have know these two as a couple since they started dating, but I never realized how silly & fun they are together. We had a great time playing with oranged and laughing. They are truely a perfect match... and who knows, maybe one day I will be shooting their wedding one day!

Baby Grace: 2 Months

You remember Baby Grace from her last session when she was only 10 days old.... Her mom & I got back together for a mini 2 month session. Stay tuned for more of Grace next month.

Playing Ketch-up! Dillon's senior session

I have been a very bad blogger this past month. Now that my best friends wedding, Vegas, computer problems & my sickness (well, almost) are behind me I am trying to get caught back up.

First Dillon's Senior Session from last month. Dillon is the winner of my Senior Contest from a few months back. His amazing personality and talents were highlighted in emails from his loving family. Dillon is an really great kid and will soon be graduating and will make a place in the world for himself. I am not sure well he will be, but he will make a differnce!

Katie & Otis: The Wedding

Yes, I am finally back from vacation and completely behind on all of my blog post. Up first, Katie & Otis... Married Oct 3rd @ Friday Musical, Downtown, Jax.

I have known Katie since the very first day I moved to Jacksonville back in 2000 and we have been friends every since. Katie is just one of those girls that you can't help get along with because she has a good heart. I am just glad I was still around to photographer her big day. Jax Shoot Club

This week I had the opportunity to shoot along side of 80 other photographers with the Jax Shoot Club. We met in Riverside and were able to shoot with four amazing models for a couple of hours. Even though I think I did more talking than shooting I was able to get some amazing pics. It was really great to shoot with everyone and get their take on the same model and location. I can't wait for next month.

PUG Night Shoot

PUG Night for September was in St. Augustine. We all met up at Harry's Seafood (my Fav!) for some dinner and great photo conversation before hitting the streets with Scarlett for some awesome night shooting with our model Cam & her fabulous man, Eric. Cam did an amazing job model with no direction. We had a great time and I was able to get some fun photos for my collection. Here are a few of my favorites! Hope you enjoy.

Baby Grace

Little Grace and me go way back.... to when she was in the womb for her mom's maternity pictures. I have shot so many pictures of her family it's hard to remember them all. It was finally great to actually get to meet her. This little angel born 9/9/09 was 7lbs & 6oz @ 19 1/2 inches long. She is was just 10 days old when we shot these pictures and oh so cute!! I can't wait to shoot some more for her very soon.

N + K: Nora & Kelly's E-Session

When I first met up with Nora & Kelly several months ago, I knew instantly that they would be an amazing couple to take pictures of. Nora is just beautiful and Kelly is quite charming, and little Shea is just the sweetest thing, so when we got together last weekened for their E-Session I was estatic. They were both so easy to work with I didn't have to give them hardly any direction. I just love it when couples know what to do! These two definetly rocked it. I can't wait for their June wedding at One Ocean. Here is a sneak peak of their E-session to hold you over until then....

Just Married: Summer & Eric

I have known Summer & Eric for a few years now. When Summer asked me to shoot their special day I was thrilled. They are just the All-American couple that everyone adores. Summer is just the sweetest person, gorgeous and Eric is just a funny guy that always tell great stories. It was great to finally get a chance to see them celebrate their love. Even though it was raining from begining to end, that did not stop Summer from smiling all day. The wedding was simple, elegant and beautiful. Here is a sneak peak of the happy couple from their wedding day at St. John's Golf & Country Club.

First, I want to say Thank YOU! to all of you who took the time to enter the contest. There were so many wonderful entries of Seniors that will soon graduate and go into our world to make a difference. Some of you made me laugh & some of you made me cry, it was a great contest and I can't wait for next year. It was not an easy process in choosing the winner but a decision had to be made.

Meet Dillon... in the eyes of his mom, dad & other friends & family. This straight from the email I received from his mom for nomination and the reason that Dillon won the contest.

"You want to know why he is amazing. That is such a big question. He is loving and caring. He has a heart of gold and shares it with everyone blessed enough to know him. He is an amazing friend to all that knows him. He takes it personal when his family or friends are hurting and wants to do something to help. He is an individual that doesn't care what other people think, he does what is right because its right not because its popular! He takes that a step further and encourages his friends to do the same. He has a very deep love for God and also shares that with his friends. From the day he was born he has been my heart and strength.

He plays Lacrosse for his high school, and has also been known to enjoy skateboarding, surfing, fishing, karaoke, and is often the clown of most situations, not to be disrespectful but to make life in general more fun! He also has a quiet love for writing poems, raps and songs, writing his thoughts in general."

Kaitlin: New Trend

So who says that you have to wait to Senior year to go all out for a great photo session... So Kaitlin & I got together to start a new trend of Freshman Pictures! Kaitlin is not a flahy girlie girl but just a sporty freshman at a new school. We kinda thought of this session as the begining of her time capsual. She can pull this back up 4 years from now and see how far she has come, how her answers have changed in that time, and has she has grown as a person. During our session I got to know her a little better with a game of 20 questions and here is what we came up with...

Joann & Christian's Hot E-Session

This past Monday I got the spend the afternoon with an amazing couple. Joann and Christian are just one of those couples that you can just look at and tell how in love they are. The little laughs, comments, and the looks that they give each other when they think no one is looking, makes you just melt. They are the kind of couple that makes you want to rush home to kiss your man and remind him how in love you are. Joann is just the cutest thing and Christian is almost as big of an LSU fan as I am... (wink wink). We had a great E-session at their favorite spot in Jax, Hanna Park.
