Sizzle Sizzle....

Tuesday night I rushed off to Cafe Carmen in San Marco for my month PUG meeting. PUG is Pictage User Group, which is all of Jacksonville's best photographers who all use Pictage for their printing needs. I walk into the resturant only to find around 20 of my peers discussing everything from the nights upcoming shoot to what their favorite desert is. Scarlett Lillian host the PUG here in Jax and did an amazing job setting up a night shoot with beautiful Cassie Cherneski of Flaire Weddings & her husband John. John & Cassie managed the cold, foggy weather for about two hours with 20 photographers flashes going off every second. I was not only able to get some great images of the couple but also met spectucular artist like Corinna Hoffman (who is easily the sweetest person ever), and Melanie Watson (who I could learn a few things from). Amazing people, great conversation and a few fantastic shots (if I do say so myself)... All in all it was a great night!

And this is all the wonderful talent around Jax..... Thanks guys, for a great night!

Long time no blog....

So I know I have been really slacking lately on good blog post. But this is why and what I have been up to.... Dec. was full of Christmas parties of course and then the FL/OU playoff game in early January. My best Friend Steph (or as I call her Terrio) and her fiance John (Lewis, as I call him) are huge rivals with each other. Lewis is the #1 OU fan.... he dresses from head to toe in OU gear for every game, all the way from his OU hat to his OU boxers. Of course, Terrio, being the typical Gator cheerleader that she is, fighting right along side of him for every game. Especially this one... It was a fun night to watch them rival it out with each other. Here are a few great pics....
And then keeping me busy is my family.... My wonderful boyfriend Reilly and our little boy, Macon. Coming home everyday to them just make everything horrible go away, I forget all my cares, lay on the floor them and play. There is no better feeling then coming home after a long day and seeing smiling faces, happy to see you. Here are a couple of recent pics of the two of them...

And then there was the floor hassel... It was worth it in the end but we are still not compeletly finished with all of it and my house is still a wreck. It will come together in time though...

Macon's last minutes on the old carpet....

All the carpet is up and cleanup time has begun...
And the new floor starts to go down...

Then there are the photoshoots I have been trying to keep up with... This one from this past weekend for a great friend of mine. It was too cold to do outdoors, we decided to set up my studio equipment and shoot.

And of course, more to come soon from the shoots I have been working on...

Vote for Macon Ryan

Vote for my little boy in the MVP Bissell contest. He truely is the best dog I have ever had. His sweet temperament is only inhanced by his cute little face. He makes me smile & turns my bad days good again. He is like a son to Reilly (my boyfriend) & I.

MVP Pet Photo Contest sponsored by BISSELL, maker of pet vacuum cleaners.
