Carie's Having a Girl! ~Jacksonville Maternity Photographer~

Carie & Daryl are having a little girl! Baby Abbey... uh, or Ava... is due any day! We decided to battle on the chalkboards, since they are still battling it out on their favorite baby name. Guess we will find out real soon which one they decided on. I can't wait to meet their cutie pie, stayed tuned for her newborn session!

Wow, has it been a busy year for us and we are beyond excited. In January I ordered all new business cards by the hundreds with different pictures, which was twice as many as I had used last year. To my surprise, we have already ran out of all of my pretty new business cards and it's already time to order more. And, It's only June! This is fantastic news and we are so grateful for all of my previous and current clients. We really have the most amazing, loving, creative clients and we would love to celebrate more with you.

To say Thank You to all of my faithful moms, models, seniors, grandparents, newlyweds and brides... I am giving away more of my time to you. Book now to get your Thank you!

For any brides or grooms that choose one of my packages I will be giving....

* For smaller packages: One free extra hour on your wedding day. Hopefully, taking some pressure off of your busy day. That's one hour extra to get creative and the opportunity for us to capture the events that are most important to you on your wedding day.

* For larger packages: Two free extra hours any way you want them. Your choice. Where you thinking of doing a day after session? Are your girlfriends planning a huge night out for you? Do you want to trash your dress? This is great for add-ons that you weren't sure about at first.

And for all of my moms, seniors, models and couples celebrating their love...

* An extra hour of fun with your loved ones in front of the camera or an extra location for adding individuality to your session.

This gift is available for any bookings made between now and Sept 1st!
My new cards have been ordered and I am excited to spend extra time with all of my clients. Email me now to take advantage of this Thank You Promotion!

Back in action

Well, we were officially back to work last week and since we got back to Jax it's been non-stop! I have fallen WAY behind on my blogging and my face book posts are almost non-existent, but that changes today. So keep checking the blog over the next week for new weddings, maternity sessions, new promotions and other exciting news.

We had an incredible, relaxing two weeks off. For those of you that do not know, my entire family is from Louisiana and I am the only one that lives out of the state. It's hard being away from them and missing all the things some people some people might take for granted everyday. It's always so nice to go home to visit with my family and just enjoy the simple things in life. My parents have some amazing acreage with the huge overstocked pond, fields of wildflowers, a garden full of fresh vegetables, and every type of fruit tree you can imagine. I think my three favorite things to do when I go home is sit on the swing with mom while she drinks her coffee, going through moms green house as she tells me what all of the plants are, and messing around in my dad's shop, asking him a million questions about tools while he is trying to build whatever his new project is. Every time I go home my dad is always building something new and my mom always has a new flower bed.

Believe it or not I actually only picked up my camera once while I was at home. So since no post is complete without photos, here are my favorite things about home....

Home sweet Home...

Something that makes me remember how great my childhood was... Riding on my dad's old tractor (which was new then, haha)

Just a few of the great things growing while we were home.... (Side note: Last time we were home, Reilly helped my dad plant watermelons, a few months later my dad called and asked him for his secret because he had over 80 watermelons growing at once. City boys can plant gardens too!)

And a few things that make me smile... four out of the nine neices and nephews that I have and our newest edition to the family, our guard doggie Dixie.
